The two weeks following the
Houston Marathon involved a lot of rest and recovery with not a whole lot of
running. Even before my hip pain and
hamstring injury, I was planning on taking a good 3-4 weeks off of running
after Houston anyways.

Georgie slept forever after 6 days at doggy day care! |
My only run was on Friday the
29th—12 days after the marathon. It was
one of those days that I just felt like running and I’m glad I did. It felt ok, not great. The next day was Rehab 2016 which is Cape Cod Rehab’s annual day of staff inservice presentations and team building
activities. Yeah Team Jamaica! The CCR Run Team introduced ourselves to the
Physical Therapists and I was able to present to the Mashpee Fitness trainers
about Training Plans & Training Cycles.
It was fun—I could talk about running for hours!
I would also like to send a big
thank you to Kathy Carroll for taking a look at my hips and RockTaping me!
