Weekly Roundup 4.4-4.10

Week 5 of 12

This week I ran a comfortably fast 5-miles with Dave at Run Club, nailed a speed workout, ran 6 total miles with the pup and decided half way through my long run that I was going to run 10 miles instead of 8.  Overall a good week, but still not satisfied.  I’m having a hard time finding the motivation and confidence.

I will say this though—after marathon training, I am LOVING half marathon training.  Running fast is fun.  Running fast also hurts.  I know if I want to PR in Buffalo, I’m going to have to push myself in training and step outside my comfort zone.  I think because of that I’m not excited to get out and run everyday.  Never fail—once I get out there, I feel fine.  It’s that initial “I don’t want to do it” that’s holding me back.


Other highlights:
