Weekly Roundup 7.25-7.31

 
What a good week of running!  I mean not stressful, run when I feel like it kind of running—and I ended up running a bunch!

Monday’s run was hot.  


Tuesday’s run club was really hot.  I ran with Jason, Kyle, Allison and Chris.  We ran through sprinklers and stopped at Mashpee Fitness for a water stop then stopped at the Lanes for a drink!


Wednesday’s run was hot.  I wasn’t going to run but I had the day off and it just fell into place later in the day.  Speaking of day off—Wednesday was a PERFECT day off.  I slept in, got my nails done, hung out by the pool, had a giant Starbucks and pineapple cider, went for a few walks, ran, went out for ice cream and spent my evening on the couch with Big Brother.  It really was wonderful and much needed.


 
Thursday’s run was the hottest.  I ran with a new client and we did a little run/walk to get through.  Side note: I picked up 2 new running clients this week!  I love it.

Saturday was another hot one.  The temperature wasn’t as high as its been but the 95% humidity and 1 mph breeze didn’t help much.  I slept in a little and didn’t get out ‘til a little after 9am but my mom ended up biking with me—which was a nice treat.


Other highlights:

·      I’m TRYING to get back to some kind of strength training routine.  I did pretty good this week.  Hoping the carry the momentum into next week…
